Description:

Madison General Ordinance Sec. 32.03 - Encourage the development and preservation of affordable housing in the city of Madison; serve as focal point for housing issues, including landlord-tenant issues; oversee coordination of City of Madison housing policies; make recommendations to Mayor/CC on all aspects of housing policy; create subcom. to carry out its functions; hold public hearings on, and recommend to CC specific policies and programs to encourage and assess the city's housing efforts; and they shall have such other powers, duties and functions related to housing as are conferred on it by the mayor or the Common Council from time to time.
