RES 07-00398, ID 06019, adopted 3-27-2007 & 2008 Operating Budget Amendment -The committee shall issue two reports to the mayor and Common Council. The first report shall be issued prior to the start date of the proposed Planner 3 and shall include recommendations related to the general goals, strategies and priorities for the Office of Neighborhood Support. The second and final report shall be issued within one year of the establishment of the Office and shall include observations and recommendations related to the specific operation, goals, strategies and priorities of the Office.
It is envisioned that the Neighborhood Support Officer will facilitate City support for neighborhoods; serve as a clearinghouse for neighborhood requests, issues and services; aid the Neighborhood Guidance team and Neighborhood Resource team; and assist in implementing many of the neighborhood staff team draft recommendations. |
